I created Global Feast as an event counterpart to the first-ever Conde Nast Traveler Food & Drink issue.
The goal was to bring something new to the crowded New York culinary calendar. Instead of a standard tasting event, where all the food is brought to one place, we took ticket-buyers to the food. The night began with a cocktail party for 1,000. Guests were then transported to restaurants around the city for one-of-a-kind dinners commissioned from some of today's top chefs.
In the second year, the event was renamed Global Tasting Tour and expanded to include Los Angeles and Chicago. Family dinners and chef-selected gifts for every guest were added expressly for lead sponsor MasterCard.
The sold-out tickets ranged from $75-$275.

9 YEARS RUNNING!
Passport to the Arts was created as a sponsorship opportunity for advertisers in The New Yorker's Art & Architecture issue. I developed the event to give consumers a self-guided tour of blue-chip galleries where they collect artist-created stamps. The event culminates with a cocktail party for 800+ and auction of original art.
Special Assist: The idea to commission stamps by artists came from Paul Robertson. Thanks, Paul!
For several years, I oversaw the sponsorship program for The New Yorker Festival, a 3-day arts and culture celebration in venues throughout New York City.
Each sponsor—representing diverse categories from auto and finance to consumer electronics and packaged goods—received a custom program designed to integrate their product into the event experience.
A Festival HQ featured advertiser sampling stations, sponsored activities, and custom events. Sponsors also received site-specific activations at the event's many venues and parties.
Sponsorships were promoted through a branding campaign in print, online, radio, and outdoor media.

To celebrate the appointment of Nilou Motamed as Editor in Chief, Epicurious hosted a preview tasting at the still-unopened Telepan Local in Tribeca.
The chef created a signature drink for sponsor Patron.
For the U.S. launch of the MINI Cooper, I commissioned original art from noted American artists including Barry McGee and Chris Johanson. The art was installed on MINIs for an exclusive cocktail party in New York's Chelsea gallery district and auction of the original works of art.
